However, only East Timor won the referendum and finally gained independence. The turmoil that occurred in Timor Leste to its independence gained a series of impacts from the economic crisis that led to the collapse of the New Order government. In 1998, the separatist movement was not exclusively in East Timor. In this research, it is known that these students consider nationalism and awareness as citizens are shown by good social behavior every day. Among the people who crossed national borders and became Indonesians, some of them remained in the territory of the island of Timor which was quite close to the border of Timor Leste. The separation of Timor Leste made many of its citizens who remained pro-Indonesia decides to conduct an exodus and remain as an Indonesian citizen. One of the young countries that gained their independence at the end of the 21st century is Timor Leste. Previously, this country was the 27th province of Indonesia until the referendum in 1999. Some of the people who moved when they were children have now grown to become students and are educating outside the city and even outside the island. This movement and choice remain as Indonesian citizens they choose to make these students have a different perspective on the concepts of nationalism and citizenship.
Lee Kim Wee & Benjamin Tang Cheong Copyright (c) 2021 Tennessee Research International of Social Sciences https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2021-03-07 2021-03-07 3 1 1 10 Effects of Globalization on Entrepreneurial Risk in the Apparel sector http://triss.org/index.php/journal/article/view/29
Globalization has become a more familiar topic which has caused overwhelming influence on every kind of business category of the world imparting with enormous opportunities, removal of trade and tax barriers while importing more risk to the businesses. This research paper assesses the Effects of the political, economic and technology which promulgate the risk of globalization on the apparel industry bringing focus on to the Colombo district Small and Medium (S.M.E) apparel companies. Apropos analysis the previous researches, it has identified the relationship of globalization and entrepreneurs pertaining to risk using secondary and primary data with several models. A sample frame of 150 (N=150) was selected under the random sampling technique. Primary data was collected using face to face interview method with a comprehensive questionnaire as a research model while canonical correlation and Manova were used to present the result of the data. SPSS and MS Excel were used to analyze the collected data. As the prime finding of the study there exists a positive correlation between globalization and entrepreneurial risk. As a reaction entrepreneur have to avoid the risk because risk causes huge damage to the business. Keeping continuous savings, joining ventures and issuing shares, are the solutions to avoid the risk of globalization.
K.G.N.W. Once the dominant topic of the identified communities is found out, then ranking its members is relatively easy, since the challenge before applying any graph-based page ranking algorithm lies in selecting a set of a most similar set of documents which can now be obtained using the proposed method. The work presents the application of community detection and topic modeling on citation networks to easily identify relevant publications in any given research field Community detection in networks is a method of dividing it into components where the vertices belonging to each component are strongly interconnected and the components themselves are relatively poorly connected. This work uses the application of consensus clustering for community detection. Following the identification of communities, topic modeling is performed to determine the underlying topic of every community. Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) is used to perform topic modeling on the derived communities. The proposed procedure acts as a pre-processing stage for page ranking of citation network members.
Charly Lawrance Hutchinson Copyright (c) 2021 Tennessee Research International of Social Sciences https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2021-05-15 2021-05-15 3 1 17 25 Development of Tourist Destinations in Tasikmalaya City http://triss.org/index.php/journal/article/view/31
In utilizing the area of the tourism sector, there are various kinds of potential that need to be considered, such as the potential of natural tourism, the potential of cultural tourism, and the potential of man-made tourism. Because the potential of tourism as an area for tourist attractions will be useful for developing the tourism industry in the area moreover, the area has its own potential to be a tourist attraction, so it needs to be utilized as much as possible to become an awesome tourist attraction. By using descriptive qualitative research, the study can provide a clearer picture systematically, factually, accurately about the facts of processing slums into tourist sites in Bantarsari Village, Bungursari District, and Tasikmalaya City. Data collection techniques are done by direct observation, interviews, making questionnaires, and study documentation. After all, data related to the strategies and processing systems of slum villages to be managed into tourist areas is found, then the next researcher will describe them. One of the strategies that have been implemented is creating a community-based environmental management program (PLPBK) located at RW 14 where it is crossed by the Ci Dongkol river. Previously in this dirty and crowded area, it is because many people living in slums do not receive education about the importance of health.
Chris Jackman & Hugh Hemsworth Copyright (c) 2021 Tennessee Research International of Social Sciences https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2021-05-20 2021-05-20 3 1 26 33 Does Credit card usage cause the overcome wanting? http://triss.org/index.php/journal/article/view/33
Credit card usage and its overcoming need have become a more familiar topic that caused overwhelming influence on business, personnel life, and family credit behaviors imparting enormous opportunities and problems. Respondents had to answer the 80 quantitative questions which were placed with a seven-point Likert scale where (1. Strongly disagree, 2. Mostly disagree 3. Disagree 4. Moderate 5. Agree 6. Mostly agree 7. Strongly agree). Descriptive questions except for the other 8 demographic characteristics questions. Primary data were collected using face to face interview method with a comprehensive questionnaire. As a research model, the descriptive statistic was used to present the result of the data. SPSS and MS Excel were used to analyze the collected data. As the studies’ prime findings, there is a positive correlation between credit card usage and overcoming wants. As a reaction, consumers should manage their purchases through credit cards and they shouldn’t make their purchase decisions through promotion details and card users should take rational decisions in purchasing.
K.G.N.W.
