Abstract

This study aims to map the distribution of green open spaces (RTH) in order to obtain information and plan the development of Ecopark tourism in an urban area of South Jakarta. This study conducted an analysis with the help of remote sensing technology based on NDVI data satellite imagery and the use of Google Earth Engine on the existence of RTH in urban areas, especially in South Jakarta City and processed it with the help of a geographic information system. The results of the study show that Tebet Eco Park, which is the result of the revitalization of Tebet Park, functions as a public space with an important role, including in terms of water absorption, flood control, and as an effort to overcome the water crisis. This study contributes directly to the achievement of the sustainable development goals of the SDGs, especially goal 11 on sustainable cities and settlements by providing spatial-based analysis to optimize its discussion. By combining ecological and economic aspects, this study also supports the goal of SDGs 13 on climate action, through the management of green open spaces that not only support tourist attractions, but also function as mitigation and adaptation measures to the impacts of climate change.
